Get Lighter

Are you dieting at this very moment? Or are you still tussling with those eight pounds that most of us gain during the holidays? • Obesity has become a worldwide health epidemic
• Sadly, the fastest-growing obese population is children

Diets Don't Work!

Diets don't work! Statistics don't lie! But most of us never ask why. We just try another diet. We've forgotten that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. The act of dieting over and over again is probably why we get stuck in the belief that diets will help us lose weight . . . even if they don't.

Diets aren't helping us get lighter. Actually, they're helping us get heavier. So how can you Get Lighter once and for all?

If you really want to weigh less, you might want to let go of the belief that diets help you lose weight. And the best way that I know to do that is to get Get Lighter, the WHY of Weight Loss. Get Lighter works from the inside out rather than the outside in. It doesn't impose some harsh food plan upon you that you eventually won't follow. It doesn't make you feel guilty or deprived and cause you to overeat. Instead, it gives you the tools to eat moderately and excercise more. When you Get Lighter, you not only lighten up your body but your mind and spirit as well.

My Get Lighter Story

Get Lighter is a product of my own experiences with body image and food. My weight yo-yoed all my life. I got fatter with each new "Miracle Diet." But I want you to know there is a solution, and I'm proof. Now that I'm sixty, I look and feel better than I did 25 years ago. And I've maintained a normal weight for over twenty years. Most of all, I accept the way I look. I don't obsess about food or about my weight anymore.

I've been helping clients Get Lighter for many years. Working individually with people, especially in the beginning of their journey towards getting lighter, is important because we all have different ways that we learned to overeat, different pathways out of our overeating, and different journeys toward self-acceptance.

Helping individuals is very gratifying. But I also wanted to create a more global, sequential approach to help the whole world Get Lighter. So I decided to come up with an affordable, easily-accessible plan that encompasses how you relate to the world, how you feel about your life, how you feel about your body, how you feel about others, and how all that information relates to the way you use food.

How to Get Lighter

The goal of Get Lighter is to explore your belief systems one by one to find out what serves you or doesn't serve you on your Get Lighter journey. Once you can see your unique journey clearly with all its obstacles, traps, and potholes, you may have acquired enough knowledge to change your body once and for all instead of rollercoastering, yo-yoing, and those other things you do when you're dieting.
